Best and Worst of the Weekend: 2/26-2/28

Brady’s Best:

The USA-Canada game on Sunday.  Even though the US lost, what a game it was.  Like I said earlier, I literally jumped out of my seat when Zach Parise scored the goal with just seconds left to send it into OT.  It was a tremendous afternoon for hockey.

Brady’s Worst:

The postgame interview with Ryan Miller.  Awkward, just awkward.

Neal’s Best:

The Blackhawks' six Olympians

The USA finishing with 37 medals, the most overall at the Vancouver Games.  Also, the performance of the Blackhawks’ Olympians.  Jonathan Toews scored the first goal for Canada, Patrick Kane had two assists, and Duncan Keith had one helper.  Even though he played limited minutes, Brent Seabrook played really well.  Marian Hossa and Tomas Kopecky led Slovakia to a fourth place finish, much better than originally expected.

Neal’s Worst:

Indiana Basketball has reached a new low.  The loss to Iowa makes it ten straight defeats for the Hoosiers.  Also, the postgame altercation between IU alum Steve Alford and BYU player Jonathan Taverneri.  If you don’t know what we’re talking about…check out the video.
